Michael J. Griffin, M.A | CEO | Strategic Advisor | Pallet Industry Expert

With over 40 years of deep-rooted experience in the pallet and lumber sector, I specialize in the intersection of operational excellence and strategic growth. Having built and scaled multiple successful companies as a CEO, I now leverage that “on-the-ground” expertise to help manufacturers maximize profitability and navigate complex market shifts. For the past 15 years, I have focused on drawing alongside industry professionals on both the supplier and buyer sides to implement tailored business plans that thrive in today’s competitive market. My approach is uniquely informed by a multidisciplinary background in Economics (UC Irvine), Law (Western State), and a Master’s from Dallas Theological Seminary. Whether lecturing at the Paul Merage School of Business or consulting one-on-one, my mission is to provide the high-level “know-how” necessary for generational success.

Catherine A. Griffin, M.A. | CFO & Financial Strategist

I help startups transform into industry leaders by building the financial infrastructure they need to scale. With over 30 years of experience and an Economics degree from UC Irvine, I specialize in “ground floor” development—having served as CFO for eight successful ventures across the manufacturing and service sectors. My approach goes beyond the numbers; I build high-performing teams by integrating experts in banking, accounting, insurance, and HR to ensure long-term stability. Most recently, I led the operational transformation of one of the nation’s largest dental practices, culminating in a high-profile merger that secured the retirement goals of the firm’s principals. When I’m not scaling businesses, I’m fostering strategic engagement within the UC Irvine Dean’s Leadership Society.

Christopher M. Griffin, Esq. | VP & In-House Counsel | Strategic Advisor

Serving in a hybrid capacity as Vice President and In-House Counsel, I operate at the intersection of business growth and operational integrity. I lead our compliance and analytics teams to deliver precision-driven insights while safeguarding corporate governance and providing sound legal analysis for our partners. From negotiating complex contracts to navigating regulations around lumber and pallet trade, I ensure Pallet Analytics operates on a bedrock of legal and strategic certainty.
My approach is informed by a multidisciplinary background as a graduate of Carleton College and USC’s Gould School of Law, as well as my tenure as a managing associate at Sidley Austin LLP. Having handled numerous complex litigations and represented companies in investigations and enforcement actions brought by the DOJ, EPA, SEC, and FTC, I bring a “battle-tested” perspective to the pallet industry, allowing me to anticipate regulatory shifts and emerging contaminant issues before they impact the bottom line. A believer in the analytical rigor of the litigator paired with the mindset of an executive, I remain committed to the pursuit of justice through an award-winning civil rights pro bono practice. My mission is to provide the sophisticated “know-how” and leadership necessary for our clients to thrive in an increasingly complex global supply chain.
